Utility Programs
EDX Conversion Utility
EDXCV is a utility designed to assist in converting various files that the EDX programs need or creates into different formats. You can convert various terrain, land use, and building file formats into EDX formats. You can also export some of the EDX working files into other formats, such as MIF/MID format and SHP/DBF formats. Please see the reference manual for more details on its use and capabilities.

Utility Files - EDX
- TIFTOOLS.EXE (130K) Information about using TIF format image files in EDX Windows programs and a utility for viewing the parameters of a TIF file.
- MAKEIDX.EXE (120K) A self-extracting file containing the "make_idx" utility for creating indexes of 201 or PTR format international terrain files. These indexes are used to speed up the operation of EDX programs that need these files.
HASP (Hardware Key) Files
The latest versions of files used by the EDX program to support the HASP hardware key are always available on the key manufacturers site (Aladdin). The files are located at:

The only files you may need are the following:
- HASP Device Driver - hdd32.zip
This .ZIP file contains the HDD32 program that you run to load the drivers necessary to use the HASP hardware key on a Windows 98/NT/2000/XP platform.
- HASP Utilities - aksdiag.zip
Various Diagnostic programs for testing HASP keys and determining the hardware characteristics of a computer.
- HASP Utilities - install.zip
The HASP "Monitor" program is used on workstations. This program is used to determine proper operation of the Network Key.
- NetHASP License Manager - lmsetup_win32.zip
License Manager Program for installing network hardware keys on Windows servers
- NetHASP License Manager - lm_for_novell.zip
License Manager NLM for Network Hardware Keys on Novell Network Servers.

A number of manufactures have provided us with antenna files which we have converted into the EDX format. Our pattern library now consists of over 2600 antenna pattern files. We have included a complete list of these antenna files sorted by manufacturer.
You should download and examine one of these two compressed self-extracting files to determine which of the following antenna data files you may need.
