EDX IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT EDX SignalPro® HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY USED TO PLAN WIRELESS NETWORKS FOR THE 2004 OLYMPIC GAMES IN GREECE.

The EDX SignalPro® suite of wireless network design and planning tools provide Greece with unmatched features from initial network design and deployment through network maturity.

EUGENE, Ore., August 9, 2004 — EDX Wireless LLC is pleased to announce that EDX SignalPro®, our premier wireless network design software, has been used extensively to plan communications systems for the 2004 Olympic Games and for other commercial projects throughout Greece, including TETRA, HERMES, and other mobile telecommunication systems.

Specifically, EDX SignalPro was used to plan and design TETRA system radio coverage for the wireless telecommunication needs of Athens 2004 Olympics Games. These networks are present in all Olympic venues, including the metropolitan areas of Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Heraklion Crete, and Volos.

For many years, EDX’s premier wireless network design software, EDX SignalPro® has been the standard for the Planning Department of Mobile Telecommunications of OTE (Hellenic Telecommunications Organization). In addition it is used for the TETRA radio coverage for the Greek national highways.

In all, there are over 30 EDX software installations in Greece that have been provided and supported by EDX’s Greek distributor Heletel s.a. (www.heletelco.gr). The customer list includes the Greek Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, National Telecommunications and Post Committee (National Regulatory Authority), Hellenic Telecommunications Organization, Hellenic Public Broadcast Organization, Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, telecommunication service providers, telecommunication companies, wireless network integrators, and universities.
